Take a bow, boys and girls of Derrychrin! What an incredible celebration of talent, teamwork, and festive cheer at our Christmas Show. We were delighted to host two magical performances: P1: Knock, Knock! The Nativity and P2–P7: Countdown to Christmas
Our Christmas Show truly reflects the family atmosphere within our school community—a team effort from pupils, staff, and families to create unforgettable memories for our children.
From practices and rehearsals to the final curtain call, the children were simply fantastic! Their joy and excitement shone through every smile and song. We are so proud of each child for showcasing their talents and living out our school values and motto ‘Always Believe and Achieve’
We are truly grateful to everyone who contributed to making our Christmas Show such a memorable occasion.
To our amazing staff – thank you for preparing the pupils so well, organising costumes, and creating stunning festive displays that filled our school with Christmas cheer. Your dedication ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

To Miss Hughes, thank you for organising and leading the Christmas Show and managing the music and sound so expertly. We also extend our gratitude to Donal Canavan for his continued support in music tuition with our guitar and tin whistle groups.
We are deeply appreciative of our Friends of Derrychrin PTA for their tireless efforts in organising the Christmas Raffle and assisting with car parking, ticket collection, and prize sourcing. The generosity shown has been overwhelming—thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and to local businesses and individuals for their kind donations and prizes. Your support is invaluable and helps us provide a richer learning experience for our children.
