Early Morning Club

Following the expression of interest process and consultation with staff & governors, Derrychrin Primary School ‘Early Bird Morning Club’ was made available in November 2023. It will be reviewed again for the new school year for September 2024.

Please note that all families who wish to avail of this service can avail of two options:

  1. Register their child/children on a termly basis (Term 1: Nov-Dec, Term 2: Jan-Mar, Term 3: Apr-June)
  2. Register their child/children on a weekly basis in advance. (Registration will close every Thursday at 12noon the week prior)

Parent Information  

  • Registration is LIVE on ‘School Money.’
  • Only those children who have registered will be eligible to attend.
  • The cost of the club is £1.50 per child daily. Parents/Guardians can complete registration using the cashless payment system ‘School Money’. (Please note any school closure days when making payment).
  • Registration and payment are made in advance to organize staff and reduce administration demands.
  • Parents will be kept informed of registration dates for Terms One, Two and Three. These dates will be made available on ‘School Money’.
  • Parents can change or cancel their sessions up to 1 day prior to their child attending a specific session without incurring a charge. Any change or cancellation after this point is non-refundable.
  • Parents/Guardians are requested to read the Wrap Around Care Policy detailing all terms and conditions with parental responsibilities. Parents registration confirms consent their consent of the policy.
  • It may be necessary to revise aspects of the policy as needs change and the services evolve with key factors such, finance, and staff provision. The policy is available to view in the ‘Our School Section’ on our school website.
