🏐🏆 MacRory success for St. Mary’s Magherafelt & All Ireland title for Kilcoo & Conleith! 🏐🏆
Congratulations to St. Mary’s Magherafelt on winning the MacRory Cup Final today with a superb performance against Holy Trinity Cookstown. A special mention to our past pupils Ronan, Eunan, and Niall. Ronan current PE teacher and who is also part of the St. Mary’s management team. Eunan and Niall who are playing members with Niall producing an outstanding performance scoring 1-03 and received Player of the Match.
Congratulations also to Ruairi Forbes who is also part of the St. Mary’s team and had a tremendous game in midfield. Ruairi is a past pupil of our neighbouring parish school Ballylifford PS.
Congratulations to past pupil Conleith Gilligan who is coach of the successful Kilcoo Senior Football team who won the All Ireland Club Final yesterday against Kilmacud Crokes in Croke Park. Conleith who won an All Ireland Club as a player with Ballinderry Shamrocks, has now added a second title as a coach of the successful Kilcoo team. Fantastic achievement! 👏🏻
A superb weekend for our past pupils and we are so proud of their achievements. We look forward to them visiting Derrychrin PS with the Cups in the near future. We wish St. Mary’s all the best in the upcoming All Ireland series.
