As part of the ‘Trout in the Classroom’ initiative, Frank and Jillian from the Ballinderry Rivers Trust visited the Primary 7 classroom. The pupils learned about the ecology of the Ballinderry River and Lough Neagh. In a few weeks time, Frank and Jillian will bring dollaghan trout eggs to the classroom for the P7 pupils to monitor as they hatch and grow into dollaghan fry.
