Big Bird Watch Derrychrin PS

Derrychrin PS have been looking at biodiversity as part of our Eco Schools Action Plan. We have been looking at how we can develop the animal species in our school environment as we have limited Green areas.
The whole school participated in the creation of a bug hotel to enhance the Minibeasts in our environment and in turn the bird life in our school.
P4 have also made bird feeders and classes have participated in the Big Bird Watch with RSPB. We have observed how our bird life developed in our environment and have identified different species.
