Ballinderry Bridge Credit Union is encouraging our youth to save in their local Credit Union. Advantages for saving are as follows:
Minors’ savings are insured from the age of 6 months upwards.
Minors’ can save up to the age of 16 years and then can transfer the savings to an adult account if they live within the common bond.
Minimum savings is £1.00, maximum is £4,000.00
Each year interest is paid on every Account.
Collections take place in Derrychrin Primary School on Tuesday mornings during the school term.
Minors are entered into “Gr8 savers draw” also other promotional draws and competitions that occur during the year.
Pupils who are already members can continue to bring their Credit Union Book/Wallet to school every TUESDAY to lodge their money into their savings account.
