Derrychrin P.S. retained the South Derry Sharon Donnelly memorial trophy for the second year running. The group of girls comprising of P.6s and P.7s put on an exhibition of football in the group games to beat St John’s Swatragh, St Bridgid’s Tirkane, St Mary’s Glenview and St Mary’s Draperstown. They topped their group and moved comfortably into the knockout stages. They had victories over Mayogall P.S and a really tough battle with St Columba’s Kilrea to lift the cup.
