Diving deep into the world of water! 🌊 Huge thanks to our special guest for teaching us why every drop counts.

In Primary 3, our World Around Us topic this term is 'Water'. We were delighted to have a very special guest visiting us today, teaching us all about the role that NI Water plays in making sure our homes and school always have enough water for drinking, washing, cooking and cleaning.
Jonny talked to us about where our tap water comes from, how it is cleaned to make it safe to drink, how to fix a leak, and how to save water in our every day tasks. Jonny also took time to answer all our weird and wonderful questions about water - we were astonished to learn that NI Water supplies 560 MILLION litres to people in the North every day! He even brought us in some water supplies to use in our classroom, in case we ever need something fixed.
💧 A massive thank you to Jonny and NI water for coming to see us and bringing our water topic to life! 💧
