Friday 14th June 2024 is a date that will go down in history for Derrychrin Primary School. A momentous day for both our girls’ & boys’ teams being crowned All County Doire Cumann Na mBunscol Division One Champions for 2024! A double win and an incredible achievement for our school.
Today we held a special celebration day for both teams to mark the historic occasion. The boys and girls were presented with their medals and trophies from the finals.
Both girls teams received their medals from the Aaron Tournament after successfully retaining the Cup again this year. The girls also were winners of the Bertie Foley Tournament hosted by St. Patrick's PS, Mullinahoe and the St. Peter's PS, Moortown Centenary Cup.
We also had teams photos taken and they will be proudly added to the ‘Champions Wall’ at Derrychrin!
