Wednesday FULL First Holy Communion practice 10:30am in St. Patrick's Church -P4 and Choir Boys Gaelic After School Club P6-P7 -2:45pm-3:45pm (Week Four)
Thursday P5 Swimming (Week Three) Girls LGFA Gaelic After School Club P5-P7 -2:45pm-3:45pm (Week Five)
Our chosen Lenten Charity this year is Trocaire, with money raised through our annual Easter Egg Raffle.
A total of £640 was raised which is absolutely fantastic and shows the enormous generosity and kindness of everyone connected with the Derrychrin School Community. All monies collected will be forwarded St. Patrick's Church, Ballinderry which will be included in the combined total from the whole Ballinderry Parish.
The appeal this year is for Families in Malawi where extreme weather, brought on by climate change, means that flood responses need to be modified, the irrigation system adapted and better access to drinking water made available .
Thank you to all the pupils who bought raffle tickets for the fundraiser as it meant the children's name was entered into the Easter Egg Raffle. Well done to all the boys and girls who won Easter Egg prizes.
