First Lego League Competition

P.5 children have been very busy working with Sentinus and the First Lego League. The children have had the opportunity, to develop skills in S.T.E.M. and work together on Lego Coding missions and an innovation project. They competed against lots of other schools with children from 9-16 years of age at a tournament today in Belfast. They showed off their excellent coding, presented their innovation in front of judges, gained marks for core values and creative design. As well as really inspiring the staff and children from Derrychrin, they really impressed the judges with their creativity, innovation and coding skills. So much so, they received a trophy for “Rising All Stars.” This means the judges think they are a team to really look out for in the future. Well done all! Thank you Sentinus and First Lego League.
