Last Friday we welcomed back Pat McNeill and Sister Ita from Mary’s Meals to present a cheque for £950, that was raised as part of our Easter Egg Raffle during Lent.
Mary’s Meals visited the school in March to speak to the children about our chosen Lenten Charity. The charity ensures that over 2 million children across 20 different countries can have at least 1 hot meal (in school) per day. Just £15.90 can feed one child for an entire school year. Their motto is SCHOOL + FOOD = HOPE.
