Merry Christmas and a Peaceful New Year!

19th Dec 2025

Dear Parents/Carers,

As we approach the joyous season of Christmas and conclude an extremely busy and rewarding first term, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the year gone by and express my heartfelt gratitude to the entire Derrychrin School community.

To our wonderful children, your hard work, enthusiasm, and resilience have shone through in every aspect of learning. You have embraced challenges with kindness and determination, and I know you are all excited as you await Santa’s visit and the well-deserved gifts that will bring smiles to your faces.

To our dedicated staff, thank you for your unwavering commitment and care. Your efforts make a profound difference in the lives of our pupils, ensuring they feel supported and inspired to achieve their very best.

To our families, we deeply appreciate your trust, encouragement, and partnership in nurturing and educating your children. Your support is invaluable and strengthens the sense of community that makes Derrychrin so special.

As we celebrate this holy season, we pray that your Christmas is filled with peace, love, and happiness. May the holidays be a time of rest and joy for all. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the New Year, refreshed and ready for new experiences in 2026.

On behalf of the pupils, staff, and Board of Governors, I wish you a very Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.

Warm regards,
Mr. Ciaran McElroy
Principal
