Each Friday during the month of May, the children from P1 to P7 come together to pray a decade of the Rosary to remember and honour Mary, our Blessed Lady and Mother of Jesus.
Last Friday, the 13th May was the feast day of Our Lady of Fatima. Philomena McGuckin who has previously assisted the school and P4 pupils in preparing them for First Holy Communion, kindly accepted our invitation to lead Our Lady of Fatima prayer service and speak to the children about our Blessed Mother. Sister Ita from Mary’s Meals also led the children in prayer with a decade of the Rosary. It was a lovely morning of prayer and the children were so reverend and attentive throughout and prayed for their special intentions during the Rosary.
This Friday morning, we will look forward to welcoming our Parish Priest, Rev Fr. Donnelly who will lead the whole school in prayer in saying the Rosary.
