On Friday, the P4 class received a special visit from the WW2 Museum as part of their topic ‘Through the eyes…’
They were treated to some amazing pictures, videos and even some artefacts related to the the time of the war. As we are also into the Christmas season, we looked at, and compared Christmas from WW2 to Christmas nowadays. We even got involved in a lovely Christmas initiative by the museum where children in the class drew pictures for elderly people who recalled their memories during this time. The drawings will be made into a card for Christmas for these individuals.
It was a really enjoyable and educational visit, finished off with spreading some Christmas joy.
