This week our P5 pupils having been celebrating European Languages Day and learning about their chosen country Germany. The children researched about Germany and completed their country fact file which included many interesting facts. They got the opportunity to listen to some classic music by the German composer Beethoven.
The pupils also found about various foods that originated in Germany and they were treated to Haribo and Pretzels that were both founded in Germany.
The pupils also got the opportunity to play a fun playground game linked to Germany called ‘Koffer Packen’ which means packing the suitcase.
Fun all round for the P5 class who really enjoyed finding out about Germany and celebrating European Languages Day with some new German phrases.
