Past pupils celebrations and “red and white” day!

29th Jun 2023

What a fantastic finish to the school year. We had the honour to welcome back our successful past pupils to recognise Derry Day. Most of our guests today have only left the Derrychrin community within the last 5years and it is great to follow them in their early journeys and celebrate their successes.
We had the privilege of welcoming,

Dara McGuckin (Derry minors)

Dual county Camogie u14 and county football, Faye Mc Guckin, Eva Forbes and Ellen McGuckin.(ulster Camogie Champions, Ulster and All-Ireland winners u-14 LGFA)

Derry underage camogie players, Emily Mc Guckin and Paige Bell (Ulster u14 and 16 winners)

Derry U14 LGFA, Micky C (banisteoir) Rionach Conlan, Emma Mac Vey, and missing from photo Kerri-Lee Mullan.

From all at Derrychrin, we wish Dara and Gavin the very best of luck in their upcoming all Ireland final on 9th July ☘️

We also wish all the best to past pupils Niall O Donnell, Gareth Mac Kinless and Enda Muldoon in their upcoming game at the weekend.

A big thank you also to Shauna Mc Grath and Amy Mc Kenna who spoke so well to the boys and girls about their university sporting experiences and massive All Ireland win this academic year.

The message today was inspiration, motivation, imagination and belief!
