This week our Pupil Voice representatives had the brilliant opportunity to meet with Mr Colm McElroy. Mr McElroy is the chairperson of our Board of Governors and we are so grateful he gave up his time o come and meet the most important people in our school! At Derrychrin our Pupil Voice and role of the children, remain central to our vision, aims, values and ethos. We discussed ways in which school improvement decisions could be informed by those that are directly affected and impacted. We looked at U.N.C.R.C Rights of the child and how they can be aligned to our school policies. The Pupil Voice also had the opportunity to meet with subject co-ordinators to help identify and meet school improvement targets. Lots of exciting things are to come after Easter for the busy boys' and girls' in Derrychrin.
