Today P5 joined Leif Ericsson on a raiding voyage to Ireland. We know the Vikings travelled all over the world, they first began as raiders and then began to settle and trade. When we arrived on our Viking journey, we realised that the Vikings were actually like very early scientists, they had to choose the best land to settle, farm and grow crops on, they did this by testing the PH level.
We developed our scientific skills of prediction, classification/comparisons, investigating, risk assessing and recording. We had such fun using the Litmus paper and PH indicators. Do you know science is everywhere? We found out so many everyday things the PH indicator is used for.
