Road Safety took place this week and well done to everyone who took part in our in our special Active Travel to school day on Thursday. The theme was ‘Ditch the Dark’ with the aim to raise awareness of safe travel to school during the darker days and also to encourage the children and their families to actively travel to school wearing bright, fluorescent, neon, reflective clothing to celebrate ‘Ditch the Dark’ day.
It was fantastic to see so many pupils and their families get involved and highlight the importance of travelling safely to and from school at all times.
The ECO Council will be having further events throughout the year n conjunction with SUSTRANS NI to continue to highlight road safety awareness and active travel.
