Throughout the month of February, our school community focused on the value of ‘Compassion’. The pupil voice meaning is “We show compassion by helping others, giving to charity and making a difference in our community.”
Over the month, pupils explored what compassion looks like in our classrooms, playgrounds, and school life with staff acknowledging our pupils with brilliant examples of staying focused on all tasks, helping others, showing kindness, being positive and showing resilience.
Our values continue to shine through in the everyday actions, words, and attitudes of our children.Their thoughtful behaviour and positive attitudes help make Derrychrin a welcoming and respectful place for everyone.
