Throughout the month of January, our school community focused on the value of ‘Respect’.
Our pupil voice meaning captured this beautifully:

Over the month, pupils explored what respect looks like in our classrooms, playgrounds, and school life by treating others with kindness, listening carefully, appreciating differences, and showing care for themselves, each other, and our school environment.
Staff also recognised pupils who demonstrated not only Respect, but other core values. These values continue to shine through in the everyday actions, words, and attitudes of our children.
We were delighted to acknowledge our pupils at assembly who consistently embodied these qualities. Their thoughtful behaviour and positive attitudes help make Derrychrin a welcoming and respectful place for everyone.
