This week we celebrate Space Week 2021. P5s have been loving learning all about Space 🌍
We focused this week on Women in Space, to help with our S.T.E.M learning, we discovered it takes a very clever team to send an astronaut to Space. Lots of Mathematicians, Engineers, Dieticians and Scientists. We discussed equal opportunities and the importance of women entering Space. We also developed lots of skills such as using a time-line, working together and using facts to help us debate.
Keep an eye out in the future some of our pupils could be residents on the International Space Station, as they found it a very interesting place!
