An tseachtain seo we were delighted to welcome Stephanie Lavery from ‘Time Steps Living History’ to our school.She delivered a fantastic workshop that transported us back in time.In character as ‘Mrs McKinley’, Stephanie brought history to life, taking us through a truly memorable experience that deepened our understanding of the Famine and the Workhouse.
The children were fully engaged throughout, showing great focus and curiosity during this immersive Living History session.They especially enjoyed participating in a Q&A discussion about workhouses in Ireland during the Victorian era.
