Trocaire Box Appeal
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Please message below from our Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Donnelly regards the Trocaire Box appeal.
Every family in the parish has now received a Trocaire Box. Families with children of Primary School age will have received theirs from Ballylifford and Derrychrin schools.
We would be very grateful if you could return the boxes to the schools by Friday 22nd March, at the latest.
Alternatively, boxes may be brought to St Patrick’s Church immediately prior to Holy Week Ceremonies.
All monies collected will be forwarded to Trocaire by Ballinderry Parish.The appeal this year is for Families in Malawi where extreme weather, brought on by climate change, means that flood responses need to be modified ,the irrigation system adapted and better access to drinking water made available . Any contribution will be gratefully received.
